The RB-Focus Aperture Ring for Reflecting Telescopes fixes a common misconception of most mirror cell telescopes, the helix-shaped reflections that form on stars other than diffraction spikes, if you've wondered where These strange reflections come from the clips that hold the mirror to the cell. An opening ring allows the clips to be covered to completely solve this problem. It is very simple to install and is currently available for telescopes with 150mm aperture and up.

    Just right

I got this with my focuser base and it's exactly the right size to cover the primary mirror holding clamps. I was getting odd-shaped diffraction spikes (I know, it's normal) and already knew to change the focuser and add an aperture ring. This fits perfectly. Thanks RB Focus.
