We launched our new and innovative solution for the automation of calibration shots on the market:

The RB Focus eXcalibur Lite™.

A system that facilitates the acquisition of Flats.

Its robotic operation allows automatic or on-demand calibration shots to be taken from any capture software compatible with the ASCOM Cover Calibrator standard (available in NiNa 2.0 Beta, Voyager and SGP).

We have improved connectivity, as is already standard in our products, and we offer different communication systems, from traditional USB to wireless connectivity through the use of Bluetooth and BLE for connection with the mobile App.

We know that many users prefer not to use Windows, or directly have alternative capture systems; That is why we have designed the device with multi-platform tools allowing you to control the equipment from our new RB Focus Virtual Pad App (soon on iOS and Android). This App, the only one of its kind in the world of astrophotography, allows us to save the brightness for different filters, control the panel and much more, all from our mobile, tablet or IPad.

It would be helpful to clearly understand what is needed for a complete system that attaches to the OTA, supports the flat panel and includes the motor mechanism. Also, how, exactly does this product get secured to the OTA - does it sit within a D size dovetail bar for example?
