I’ve had the Gaius-S for just over a year now and it has worked brilliantly with diverse pieces of kit from a wide range of manufacturers. The integrated wifi local hotspot is strong. I run NINA on it and right now it is running a full frame Altair Hypercam 24CFX, ATIK filter wheel, ZWO EAF, IOptron GEM45, GPCAM3 2210, providing power to the camera and filter wheel and two dew straps. Makes controllers forcing you to buy a particular brand an anachronism. Highly recommended.
Un producto bien diseñado, con buenos materiales, robusto y que marca un antes y un después en la astrofotografía. He pasado de estar sin despegarme del telescopio para controlar todo, a hacer astrofotografía en remoto y vigilar solo de vez en cuando.
Un producto hecho en España por gente que ama la astrofoto, y que facilita las dificultades propias de esta pasión.
Además, prefiero el contacto humano del equipo de RB Focus, a los correos a china cuando las cosas dejan de funcionar.

Tenía un problema que me inhabilitaba el uso del Gaius hasta el punto que una llamada in extremis con Reinaldo salvó mi relación con el sistema, era algo tan sencillo aparentemente como adjudicar "deshabilitar" a la conexión compartida entre el Gaius y el sistema del portátil. La buena intención de tocar botones a ver si se arreglaba el asunto me llevó a un desastre aún mas complicado. mediante acceso remoto, Reinaldo me ayudó a poner orden en conexiones y ahora funciona como una seda.
Como partidario de un sistema "no esclavo" que me permita utilizar libremente cualquier marca de accesorios (cámaras, enfocadores, ruedas portafiltros, etc.), este el mini-pc ideal que contiene todo lo necesario para el control del equipo completo. Con la experiencia de uso de casi un año, puedo afirmar que funciona de maravilla, y como valor añadido cuenta con el mejor servicio post-venta respaldado por Reinaldo. El Gaius es una apuesta ganadora.
Para mi ha sido el elemento más importante del equipo, pues sin él no podría hacer prácticamente nada. Venía de Astroberry con las caídas e inestabilidades del sistema... Ahora con el Gaius las sesiones no se cuelgan, me permiten elegir lo mejor de cada marca, controla cualquier equipo de terceros. Conexión WiFi y bluetooth super estable que permiten conectar solo con el cable de alimentación mi enfocador y panel de flat.
